The Love Journey began in 1996. After years of hard work, the idea of a journey between students with Down syndrome and autism, the teacher, their caretaker mother, and her children, emerged. The journey started with education and training and continued with communication until we achieved the most beautiful picture that solidifies the idea through art, which expresses the essence of this long and enjoyable journey as being one family.
Children grew up with us, learned the art, and their talents were discovered and developed until they reached this stage. We continue to work together, with new participants joining us, and the adults transferring their experiences to the younger ones. Confidence grows up, communication strengthens more and more, and they become independent and effective individuals in society. Now, I share with my children, students, and team this exhibition with my artwork and theirs, to prove through art that we can create the most beautiful pictures and achieve more success through a journey of love.
